A ONE OF A KIND EVENT!!

Join us at Darma Ji this Saturday as we welcome Sidewalk Batroun, North Lebanon’s first open mic poetry collective, into the hub for their regular monthly installment!

Sidewalk Batroun is a monthly OPEN MIC night that welcomes all forms of self expression (poetry, storytelling, singing, stand-up comedy…) in any language.

Our feature this month is Ahmed Samy Lotf. He is an Egyptian Arabic poetry writer.
He started writing poetry six years ago, yet he doesn’t like to call himself a “poet” hoping one day he will earn that title from the audience. His work has never been published and is always hand written in a folder full of blue papers he carries with him wherever he goes or travel hoping one day to publish his book when he and his poetry are both ready.
